After beginning his career practising in Peterborough, and having acted for clients in many of the smaller municipalities outside of the GTA, Mr. Petch is very much acquainted with the issues of the smaller municipalities and the relationship that the municipality is most comfortable with in working with their lawyer. Mr. Petch has also acted for many of Canada's largest retailers and developers. For over 30 years, Mr. Petch has developed specialities in all aspects of Municipal Law, Environmental Law, Expropriation Law, Real Property Assessment and Real Estate Development approval. He is highly specialized as a Barrister, practising before the relevant Administrative Tribunals and Appeals to Appellate Courts. His broad based experience is highly valuable in quickly determining the most salient issues and facts necessary to develop a strategy focussed on obtaining the clients' objectives in a most timely and cost-efficient basis.
